Our first Domains Camp ran on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023. We had 7 participants in total. Because of the small group, we condensed our originally planned two-day camp into one.
The morning started off with snacks, coffee, and everything regarding digital identity. We wanted participants to have a good foundation of everything on the World Wide Web before adding their own slice to it. Each participant received a trail guide to help them along the path of Domains Camp. We reflected on our digital identity by creating Visitor/Resident maps and then sketched out how we wanted our websites to look. After lunch, we dove into WordPress and began the technical sides of website creation.
Overall, our first time running Domains Camp was a successful one. We’re hoping to continue in the future!
