You may have noticed that the Spring 2025 courses have been published on your Canvas dashboards and has shifted the view of your dashboard. If you would like to “unpublish” these courses to more easily view your fall courses, you can.
To do this, navigate to the spring course you would like to “unpublish” and look to the upper right hand side, underneath the “View as Student” button. Click on the dropdown and select “Unpublish” (View below.)
We will send a reminder to you to “Publish” these courses again so that your spring students can see the course when it is time. These courses will not automatically be published again.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not recommend “Unpublishing” courses that students are actively in because these courses will disappear for students. If you would like to limit what your students can view in your course, please unpublish individual modules/content. Don’t forget to utilize the “View as Student” button to verify what your students can/cannot see.
